Just Do Sales · Terms of Service
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains how Just Do Sales collects and uses personal information when you use the Just Do Sales learning and coaching platform at app.justdosales.io (the “platform”), and the rights you have.
1. Who we are
The platform is run by Just Do Sales, based in Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom (“Just Do Sales”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of your personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For any privacy question or request, email csm@justdosales.io.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo, time zone and anything you add to your profile.
- Membership: which programme you have access to and its status, received from our payment providers, and, for University, the length of your mentorship and the email you paid with, so our team can match your purchase. We never see or store your card details.
- A request to join: if you fill in our University join link before you have an account, your full name, the email you paid with, your phone number and the length of your mentorship, so our team can check it and set up your account.
- Your learning: lessons and courses you complete, roadmap progress, check-in answers, goals and notes.
- What you share: community and direct messages, roleplay requests and bookings, files and call recordings you upload, and your AI practice and call review sessions.
- Live calls: audio and video pass through our calling provider while a call is live. We do not record live calls in the platform.
- Google Calendar, only if you connect it: see section 4.
- Technical information: what we need to run the platform securely, such as sign-in times, browser type, IP address in security logs, error reports and your notification settings.
We get most of this from you. Membership status comes from Whop or Fanbasis; coaches and staff may add notes about your progress.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Creating your account, giving you your courses, roadmap, community, roleplays, coaching, AI practice and call review | Contract: we need it to provide the membership you signed up for |
| Checking your membership and payment status | Contract |
| Checking a request to join sent through our join link, before you have an account | Contract: steps you ask us to take before your membership starts |
| Connecting your Google Calendar, Zoom or other services | Consent: you choose to connect them and can disconnect at any time |
| Service emails and in-app notifications (e.g. a roleplay booking) | Contract |
| Phone (push) notifications and summary emails | Consent: switch them off any time in Settings → Notifications |
| Sharing your name and a result of yours (for example a deal you closed) in an announcement to other members | Consent: only after you say yes; ask us and we take it down |
| Keeping the platform secure, preventing abuse, fixing problems and improving it | Legitimate interests: running a safe, working service for our members |
| Keeping records for tax, accounting and legal claims | Legal obligation and legitimate interests |
We need your account details and membership status to provide the platform; without them you can’t use it. Everything else you share is your choice.
We don’t sell your personal information, we don’t show advertising, and we don’t use it for marketing without your consent.
AI feedback: AI practice and call review produce automated feedback to help you learn. They don’t make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you; coaches and staff make any decisions about your membership.
4. Google Calendar and Google user data
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, we ask Google for permission to:
- See when you are busy (
calendar.freebusy), so we only offer roleplay times that don’t clash. We read busy and free times only, never the titles, guests, descriptions or locations of your events. - See the list of your calendars (
calendar.calendarlist.readonly), so you can choose which calendars count as busy and which one we add roleplays to. - Create, update and remove the events we add (
calendar.events.owned): your booked roleplays, and the live sessions and events you are going to, with their call link. We only change or delete events we created.
What we store: an encrypted sign-in token for your Google account, the calendars you picked, and the IDs of the events we created. We don’t copy or keep your other events, and busy times are used to work out free slots, not kept.
Sharing: we don’t share Google user data with anyone, except our hosting and database providers that store it for us (section 5), when you ask us to, or when the law requires it. When you book a roleplay, your partner sees the booking in the platform; they never see your calendar.
Deleting it: disconnect Google at any time in My availability. We then remove the upcoming events we added, delete your stored token and calendar choices, and ask Google to revoke our access. You can also remove our access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Just Do Sales’ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the calendar features described above. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models, and no person reads it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or to investigate abuse, or the law requires it.
5. Who we share it with
We use service providers (“processors”) who handle data for us under contract and only on our instructions:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, video, live calls and email delivery infrastructure.
- Whop and Fanbasis: payments and membership status (they are independent controllers for the payments you make with them).
- Anthropic: AI practice and call review. What you send in these features is processed to produce your feedback and is not used to train their models.
- Resend: sending emails.
- Giphy: GIF search in the community. Only your search words are sent, not who you are.
- Google: only if you connect Google Calendar.
Inside Just Do Sales, coaches and staff see what they need to support you, such as your progress and the check-ins and recordings you share with them. Other members see your profile and what you post in the community, and, only if you said yes, your name and result in an announcement. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety, or with a buyer if the business is sold (we would tell you first).
6. International transfers
Some of our providers store or process data outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. When they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US “data bridge” where the provider is certified) or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Ask us for details.
7. How long we keep it
- Your account and learning: while your account is open. If your membership ends we keep your account so you can come back, unless you ask us to delete it.
- After you ask us to delete your account: we delete or anonymise your personal information within one month. Community messages you posted stay, shown as from a “Former member”, so conversations still make sense.
- A request to join: if we approve it, it becomes part of your account; if we decline it, we delete it straight away.
- Google Calendar data: deleted as soon as you disconnect Google.
- Security logs: kept only for a short time, at most 90 days.
- Payment and accounting records: 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
- Backups: overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it’s wrong;
- have it deleted;
- restrict how we use it;
- get a copy in a portable format;
- object to our use of it based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (this doesn’t affect what we did before).
You can export your data or ask for your account to be deleted in the app under Settings → Account, or email csm@justdosales.io. We reply within one month. It’s free.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
9. Cookies and storage on your device
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The platform stores only what it needs to work in your browser’s storage: your sign-in session, your settings (such as time zone and layout choices) and, if you allow them, notification permissions. Because these are strictly necessary, they don’t need consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Videos and embeds from other services (such as YouTube, Loom or Vimeo) load only when you play them and may set their own cookies under their own policies.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it, and tokens for connected services are stored encrypted. If a breach puts you at high risk, we will tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
11. Children
The platform is for adults. You must be 18 or over to use it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell members in the app before important changes take effect.
